New review for The Cajun’s Captive

Good reviews are like birthday cards. Maybe even better than birthday cards. Yes, definitely better. Reviews don’t remind me that I’m a year older and bound to get wrinkles any day now!

Good reviews pop into your inbox when you least expect them. Okay, when I least expect them. And somehow, when I need them most. It’s uncanny how that happens. Almost as if the universe realizes I need a little pick-me-up.

I’m on record as saying I appreciate all reviews. I do.

But a good review…well, you like birthday cards, don’t you?

So imagine my glee when I found a note from a reader/reviewer in my inbox at Facebook today. She’d taken the time (THANK YOU!) to review The Cajun’s Captive. I’m so glad she liked it!

“This novella is a fast, sensual read that will keep the heat turned up for you. You just may need a cold shower after you are finished reading. It is a book that can easily be read in one sitting. Sebastian and Amanda are a match made in heaven and the sparks fly from the beginning.” ~ Eva Cutter Coppersmith

If you’ve written a review of one of my books, please let me know! Thanks!

Book News

I wanted to update everyone on a few tidbits. First, I’ve gotten the rights back to my Stormy Weather series and also my book in the Stolen series. What does this mean for readers? Well, if you haven’t read the series yet, you’re going to get a chance to. The books will be released in a wide variety of formats this fall. Look for hot new covers and lower price points.

If you’re wondering what I’ve written in a certain theme or genre, check out my new Theme/Genre page. This is a work and progress. Once the bulk of my books have been released, I’ll update the page (and my other pages) with buy links.

My website will be undergoing book cover changes as I swap out covers. I can’t wait to see what you think of the new covers!

Also, and I know I’ve been saying this for a while, but truthfully with my hand on a bible, Burke’s book will be released very soon. I’m also planning to release an anthology of all five Stormy Weather books. All five Deveraux men under one cover… how will you manage?!

If you’re looking for my daily hunk, check out my tumblr blog (but be warned, some pics aren’t work safe, some of the cupcakes will make you ravenous -like you weren’t already- and some of the landscapes will make you call your travel agent.)

A few folks have asked if Reed, from Surprising Darcy, will get his own book and the answer is yes. I’ve already got the first few chapters mapped out and I’ve met the heroine. She’s something else!

I do have a second Stolen book in the works (and sequels to both stories) but there might be a change to the series title. So stay tuned for that.

The folks at Changeling are currently working on the cover for the third Deep Space Encounters book, Azula’s Rebellion. As soon as I have something I’ll show it to you! Edits are done. Watch for the release November 19th.
