Emi Lia from Bitten By Paranormal Romance Said: “I am LOVING this series!! *Sighs* If only Mystic Isle really existed, lol. An Island where all of the supes go hang out to chill and have all kinds of hook ups, yea totally awesome! “
Author L. Vanhorn said: “This is a sexy short story with a hint of DOM/SUB where the female is the DOM, loved that! If there was more of that in BDSM, I’d be all over reading it. Selena’s writing is smoking hot with just the right amount of build-up.”
Larissa Benoliel at Larissa’s Bookish Life Said:
“I really enjoyed Fangs, Fur and Mistletoe. It was a quick read, but very sexy and entertaining. We get a good glimpse of the world Selena Blake has created and I, for one, cannot wait for more stories in the Mystic Isle!”
“Wow!! That is what I’m talking about!! This is what I want to read when I read an erotic romance, lol.”
Andrea at Unromantic Mondays said:
“With good character depth, and a great plot line, Selena Blake pulls at the reader’s heart strings within the last thirty pages and pulls off another great book with Ceara and Maxim’s story.”
There’s a span of time between a book becoming available and the first review rolling in. Sometimes it’s a few hours, sometimes a few days. This span of time is akin to limbo, if you ask me. I’m not exactly flying through space, but I do feel a little weightless. Perhaps, more accurately, restless.
I’m a big believer in reviews. Yelp has saved my stomach certain food poisoning. And I regularly rely on amazon product reviews for all sorts of helpful information. But I digress.
I wait for those first reviews, alternately crossing my fingers and peeking past my hands to see the screen.
It’s always an exciting and nerve-wracking stretch simply because I take my job as an author seriously. If I do my job right, you should get swept away to a fantasy land and escape your real life for a few hours. You should fall in love and sigh at the end. You should believe in the power of love.
Those reviews let me know how well I did my job.
This time around, I think I got an A+.

This book is awesome!!! It is better than the first book in the series and I thought that was going to be hard to beat. I can’t wait for the third book. I love Cerra’s character and how strong she really is.

OMG…….The second book is even better!
I thought Grayson West was awesomely sexy and totally drool-worthy in Fangs, Fur & Mistletoe.
I should have known from previous experience that Selena Blake’s books only get better and HOTTER as a series evolves and her male characters are always to die for.
In A Werewolf to Call Her Own; Maxim Ciolek will have you wanting to climb within the pages and devour him whole! He is gorgeous, sexy and honourable to a fault, while hiding his slightly dark and broody side.
Ms Blake provides everything that erotic romance readers want in their paranormal stories!
Don’t miss a single book in this series, it’s AWESOME!!!
Crystal at Romancing The Book:
“The author did a great job with the plot and I never felt I was missing out on anything, even though I haven’t read much of the series. I felt that it had a great flow. I enjoyed the characters. The way they pick and carry on just makes you laugh.”
Tamara Hoffa at Sizzling Hot Books Said:
“Fangs, Fur and Mistletoe was sensual, enjoyable and a great look into a unique group of people. I hope this is the start of a series, because I would definitely love to hear more about Coco’s coven mates and Mystic Isle.”
Carin from My Reading Obsession:
“This is paranormal romance at its best, the fact that the characters in the book are werewolves just seems natural, never like an afterthought. “
