Welcoming Dee Carney
As you know, I’ve been inviting my author friends to drop by and entertain you. Dee was feeling a little under the weather, which is a win for you! She’s offering up a contest for you my super-sexy readers. Who wants to win? Raise those hands high!
So, I’ll shut up now and let Dee take over.

Reading on both sides of the fence
For those of you who don’t know me, first, let me introduce myself. I’m Dee Carney and I write erotic romance. I should also add that I’m Morgan Sierra and I write erotica.
Yep.
Two authors in one. You couldn’t ask for more!..unless you’re Selena and I promised you a blog post a few days ago. Ugh. Sorry Selena.
So tell you what I’m going to do to make up for it. I’m going to host a contest here. And not just any contest! Both Dee and Morgan are handing out books for readers. This is how it’ll work:
I’m offering a chance at a free copy of The Fallen (by Morgan Sierra) to every reader who posts here and tells me their favorite bad guy. Doesn’t matter where he’s from, whether book, movie, real life…just so long as you leave a comment by April 15th. I will pick one winner (at random) from those who respond to this question.
I’m also offering a chance at a free copy of The Craft of the Wise: Book of Shadows (by Dee Carney) to every reader who posts here and tells me their favorite holiday. Doesn’t matter if it’s the Judeo-Christian kind or not…again, just so long as you leave a comment by April 15th. And again, I’ll pick one winner (at random) from those who respond to this question.

So if you haven’t figured it out yet, you have TWO chances to win a book. All you have to do is respond to both questions. Simple as pie.
To read excerpts from either of these books, just head on over to my web site and click on my Bookshelf.
Good luck!
Dee
…a little bit exotic…a whole lot erotic…

My favorite bad guy… alright, the first one that came to mind (and it’s cheesy I’m sorry, blame my seven year old watching Dragonball Z; it’s his favorite anime) would have to be Vegita. He’s a villian turn semi good guy in the series. His attitude in a way reminds me of House…
As for my favorite holiday, it would have to be Halloween/Samhain. It’s the only chance one has to be someone else..and in the Pagan realm it’s a time to remember the ones lost.

I don’t have a favorite bad guy.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving.

Favorite holiday: Spring Break! (I work at a university and they just came back.) Nah, I like the students, but you can go shopping and get in and out of restaurants so much easier during those 2 weeks.
Favorite bad guy, not just because he’s bad bad, but bad in a good way: I forget if it’s Die Hard 1 or 2, but the movie starts off with this shot of a guy who appears to be naked then it pans up and you see it’s the actor William Sadler, who is a good actor. I always wonder if he had a body double.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love watching my grandchildren unwrapping their gifts, just like my children did when they were little. I also love going out on Christmas eve to look at all the lights.

One of my favorite bad guys is Jack Nicholson in “Wolf.” Paired with Michelle Pfeiffer (one of my favorite actresses), he made a commanding bad guy.
March 31st, 2009 at 4:50 pm
My favorite bad boy is from BBCs Robin Hood. It’s Richard Armitage who plays Sir Guy of Gisbourne. He’s so good at being bad.
And my favorite holiday is the 4th of July. I love the warm weather, all the grillable foods, and the pyrotechnics.

My favorite bad guy is Christopher Lee.
My favorite holiday is Christmas.

Holiday is Halloween

My Favorite bad guy is classic. It has to be Sauron from Lord of the Rings! A close second would be Darth Vader (before Luke “saved” him)
My favorite holiday is is Columbus Day, because here in Missouri it is a state holiday that gives us a break in the middle of October, between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. It is only a state holiday, and in my office there are about ten agencies, only one of which has state employees, so while everyone else is working, we get to stay home and relax.

My favorite bad guy is Snape. I know in the end he turns out OK but he is still a bad guy in my mind.
My favorite holiday is Christmas or Yule as your prefer. Big holiday for my family and I love family holidays.

My favorite bad guy is Darth Vader, first of all, he wasn’t at first but circumstances put him in this place but once he turned to the dark side he ruled supreme. Don’t make him mad, that little choke hold could kill you. What’s not to love!
Favorite holiday, Fourth of July, it’s hot and fireworks all over the place and the mosquitoes is sucking all kind of blood from us! Great day!
March 31st, 2009 at 7:05 pm
Have to say my favorite holiday would be Christmas. I just love the spirit of the whole month.
March 31st, 2009 at 8:12 pm
My favorite bad guy is probably Stuart Townsend playing Lestat in Queen of the Damned. Hotness!
I have two favorite holidays. The first is Halloween, because dressing up all scary is really fun. The other is Christmas, because I enjoy being around friends and family and celebrating. It’s also fun shopping and trying to figure out what to get someone

Boy, for favorite villain I’m thinking Russel Crowe as Sid 6.7 in Virtuosity – gives the phrase “back in form” a WHOLE new meaning.
As for my favorite holiday….well, Thanksgiving and Christmas are nice when you can get together with your family but Halloween really take the cake!

I am not sure if you want an actual bad guy or the actor who plays him but ever since a young age (and still many years later) Christopher Lee as Dracula can chill my blood.
Holiday – well I think most people, christian or not woulod probably go for Christmas and so do I. Despite all the exploitation, it is still a holiday towards the end of the year that allows us to let our best side out for a few days.

My Fav bad guy would have to be Capt Jack Sparrow with Spike (from buffy) as a Second.
My Fav holiday is Christmas. All the lights and the movies. It all has a fell good vibe when your buying gifts for other people. Weather for my son or My sisters family. Its also a wild and crazy time with family and freinds. With a very fast pace to it. Your never bored.
April 1st, 2009 at 8:00 am
My favourite bad guy is Professor Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes. He is as intelligent as Holmes and a worthy opponent.
Chinese New Year would be my favourite holiday. I get to see my most of my family members and celebrate it with them. Also, the illuminations and decorations are just fantastic, with events like lion dances, dragon parades, firecrackers and lots and lots of delicious foods! LOL!

My favorite bad guy has always been Murdock from McGyver.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love it the most just because of the traditions that are involved, the fantastic foods, and the looks on my children’s faces as they open their gifts. I enjoy giving to others and I’ve taught my children the same. That is one of our biggest traditions that we carry out in our family. Not only giving to other people but to the animals (animal shelters) as well.
My favorite villian would be either Stryker from the Dark Hunter Series or Jaws from the first Jaws movie. That was the only horror movie that I actually jumped out of my seat. When they were exploring the sunken boat and the body came out of the hole in the side, I think I jumped a foot. It was sooo scary at that time. No other movie scared me like that.
April 1st, 2009 at 8:57 pm
my favorite bad guy would have to be Michael Wincott as Top Dollar in The Crow. All that gorgeous long hair and that dry wit to go with his rather creepy amorality.
And my favorite holiday is Halloween! It always has been. The taste of fall, the candy, the costumes. The stories and movies that come on. I like how dark it is.
Blessings,
Dena

My favorite bad guy has been the Evil Queen in Sleeping Beauty.
