Character Shopping
You go shopping for shoes, I go shopping for the perfect hero for my next book. Readers often wonder how books come together and one answer is character shopping. An author might scour magazines for pictures of the characters, their homes, their surroundings, their clothes. I prefer to do my searching on the web.
